    Ben Moore

    Owner/Locksmith Extraordinaire

    Ben Moore is the owner and operator of Black Lock LLC, a local trusted locksmith service specializing in residential and commercial security. Born and raised in Pittsburgh and a graduate of the University of Pittsburgh with a degree in Sales and Marketing, Ben brings a unique blend of people skills and problem-solving to every job.

    After spending years in the corporate sales world, Ben decided it was time for a change. In 2013, he took a leap of faith, left corporate America behind, and became a locksmith. In 2018 he launched his own locksmith business—a move fueled by a passion for hands-on work and helping people feel safe and secure.

    When he’s not rekeying locks or breaking into someone’s house (legally of course), you’ll likely find Ben out in the yard or smoking up a batch of barbecue. He’s also an active member of the community and a past Exalted Ruler of the Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks in Cranberry Township, PA.

    Ben takes pride in offering honest, reliable service with a personal touch—because to him, every job is about more than locks and keys; it’s about earning trust.

  • Mike Marsh

    Locksmith

    Mike is Black Lock's second locksmith, with a specialty in automotive lockouts. He was born and raised in Pittsburgh, educated at North Hills Senior High and Penn State. A recovering public school teacher, Mike has three teaching certificates, a SCUBA card, a General-class ham radio license and can captain up to 45' monohull and catamaran sailboats. 

    While unlocking your car or home, Mike will happily discuss the idea for your new novel or D&D campaign, and can sing or recite poetry on request. He will gladly accept tokens of gratitude in the form of cigars and chocolate-covered pretzels.
